The Story

Collectors with a passion for Asian art, you finally have the opportunity to get your hands on the rare and legendary Crystal Lotus. And with a deal from an antique dealer who is willing to part with the Lotus, you are ready to begin your next adventure.

Meeting point: the antique shop that you may have walked past many times without ever really paying attention. Perhaps there are secrets that lie in store behind the beautiful facade of this secluded boutique.

The Lotus Trap is a game that was originally created and that operated under the Timescape banner (which has been part of Trip Trap since 2018). This adventure of intermediate difficulty has therefore been very slightly adapted to the needs of the Trip Trap Bazar and remains extremely popular with players!

We did the Lotus trap, the puzzles and mechanisms were very nice and original. It remains in my TOP 5 of the best escape games in Geneva.

Great welcome and a great pleasure to play adventurer with the family in this pleasant space. Not too big and not too crowded.

We came with 6 work colleagues and we loved the experience! The puzzles allow everyone to participate, perfect for teamwork. The story is not linear so you don’t get stuck on one part. We highly recommend this room!

We had a great time in the Lotus room. The riddles are very good and you get into the atmosphere thanks to the decoration of the rooms. And of course the host was very welcoming and kind.

Here are the most frequent questions about this enigma

How long will it take?

The experience lasts a maximum of 60 minutes, but if you include your arrival at the Trip Trap Bazar and possible discussions with the antique dealer after the game, you should allow for 90 minutes.

Are there any risks involved in the activity?

Absolutely not! Our adventures focus on the quality of the settings, the ingenuity of the mechanisms and a captivating story to take you on a journey.  You are never really locked in our rooms, as an EXIT button allows you to leave at any time. Also, our fully trained and dedicated staff watches over you on control screens throughout the game, ready to intervene immediately if necessary.

Do we have to arrive at the same time as the reservation?

No, it would be better to arrive 15 minutes beforehand, in order for the antique dealer to try to sell you an old African statue or an original piece of art.

I'm pregnant, so I'm a bit hesitant to come and do this adventure.

We understand completely, but it shouldn’t be a problem. If you are not on the brink of the happy event, The Lotus Trap is perfectly suitable for pregnant women. Besides, we can also install a chair for your ease and comfort, if necessary.

Is this room suitable for people with reduced mobility?

Some of the passages in the Asian section of the Trip Trap Bazar are a bit narrow, but if your wheelchair is less than 75cm wide, or you can fold/unfold it (with the help of our staff of course), there will be no problem once you are in the room. However, it would be best to give us a quick call to discuss it.

Can my children come?

Yes, if they are at least 8 years old and you feel they can concentrate on something for 60 minutes.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

When booking online, you have the option to choose a “refundable booking.” This option covers a wide range of unforeseen circumstances and can even be activated after the date of your session.
If you do not wish to choose this option, you can modify your reservation free of charge up to 7 days before the date of the event, provided that the room and time slot you choose are of equal or lesser value. Alternatively, you can archive your reservation for a later date or receive a promotional code equivalent to the value of your reservation.
For all refund requests, an administrative fee of CHF 40 will be charged.

Should I take anything special?

Each and every one of your abilities will be useful, especially your eyesight. If you need glasses to see in poor lighting conditions, don’t forget them! On the other hand, your smartphone will be of no use to you!
